About Our Client
Our client is a leading apparel manufacturer and employs over 20,000 people worldwide. Due to business expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Merchandiser for Apparel in Hong Kong office.
Job Duties
- Manage and follow all activities of material sourcing and product development, and monitor the workload with different functional teams
- Liaise and work with different functional teams, and monitor and communicate with external stakeholders on handling all merchandising activities and issues
- Prepare and provide sales data for sales offer preparation
- Provide costings for responsible product categories and negotiation with different stakeholders
- Perform order checking and follow-up, and provide after-sales services to satisfy to requirement from clients
- Liaise and work with factories and the customer service team to prepare bulk order to ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor bulk production and review quality performance to ensure all requirements are met
Requirement
- Degree holder or above in Fashion & Textile or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in merchandising, experience in apparel industry and knowledge in woven products is preferable
- Fluent communication in English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office and related system is preferable
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Merchandiser
