About our Client
Our client is a leading global apparel & homeware retail chain store with more than 3000 stores worldwide. The company has been experiencing rapid sales & earning growths, in response to their ambitious business expansion plans in the region, they are now looking to bring in a high calibre Senior Merchandiser (Furniture / Home Decor / Seasonal Products) to join the hard goods department in Hong Kong sourcing hub.
About the Role
- Report to the Sourcing Manager based in Hong Kong and Supervise 1 Merchandising Assistant
- Responsible for sourcing new vendors and supplier development in Asian countries
- Arrange buying trip for buyers and quotation follow up.
- Monitor production status & inspection controls to ensure on time delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above qualification with at least 3 years relevant merchandising experience in outdoor furniture/ seasonal/ home decor
- Extensive supplier network in China and other Asian countries
- Independent thinking with good initiative
- Sharp analytical mind, ability to identify and solve problems
- Frequent business travel
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
