About the Company
Our client is the market leader in mass retail chain with an annual turnover of US$1.3 billion and more than 400 stores in Europe. The group owns a global sourcing hub in Hong Kong and due to rapid business expansion in the region, they are looking for a high calibre Senior Merchandiser to join the kitchen appliance division.
About the role
- Report to Merchandising Manager based in Hong Kong
- Responsible for sourcing vendors/material and price negotiation with suppliers
- Liaise with vendors and and internal parties to ensure on-time delivery
- Responsible for managing suppliers, project schedule and quality control
- Ensure customer quality requirements / compliance is followed up in factories
Requirements
- Diploma / College or above qualification with at least 6 years relevant sourcing experience in Home Appliances with a good supplier database is a must
- Willing to travel
- Proficient in MS Office application (MS Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Good command of English and Mandarin
