About our Client
Our client is a leading public organization committed to deliver world class entertainment services to the market. The team is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its property & construction team and manage a large scale commercial development project.
About the Role
- Report to Executive Director and be responsible for the full spectrum of Project Management from conceptual, design development, construction to satisfactory completion and delivery of the project;
- Coordinate and liaise with internal departments on all matters related to the development;
- Work with Marketing department to formulate project brief, Cost Control department on budgeting;
- Appoint and co-ordinate with consultants and contractors for the execution of the project within budget & project time frame and meet quality requirements;
- Liaise with government authorities on statutory submission, approvals and inspections;
- Occasional travel to review construction progress and quality;
- Work with Construction Manager to supervise local site team, to monitor construction progress and construction quality;
- Supervise HK subordinates to ensure tasks are completed on time and up to standard;
- Feasibility studies of development on building types;
Job Requirement
- Master degree in Architecture with professional qualification gained from recognized professional bodies, e.g. HKIA, RIBA at least 15 years' relevant working experience with proven hands-on experience in managing contractors on site over a sustained period of time
- Working experience with developers is an advantage
- Concept and knowledge of project management software tools and MS PowerPoint
- Knowledge of local government regulations particularly on building construction, health and safety
- Demonstrable experience in managing cross-discipline teams
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
