About the Company
Our client is a leading baby and children toys brand from Europe offering high quality products including educational toys, books and children furniture. The brand offers products which helps babies and children to open the imagination and multiple talents of each child. Due to rapid business expansion in Asia, an exciting new opportunity has been created to support the research & development capability of toys categories in Hong Kong office.
About the Role
Report directly to the Regional Sourcing Director, you will proactively provide technical supports to buyers, merchandisers and suppliers to solve quality and safety problems during the development and manufacturing stages. You will also analyze and review quality performance of each season and introduce corresponding corrective and preventive actions to eventually improve supplier performance. In addition, you will also work with HQ QA department to synchronize quality requirements between Asia and HQ.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degrees in Engineering with at least 10 years' quality engineering experience in toys / children furniture
- Sound Knowledge about toys safety requirements and EU regulation is essential
- Solid Experience with laboratories and testing process
- Fluent English, Cantonese & Mandarin
