About The Client
Our client is a listed lifestyle corporate in Hong Kong with strong market recognition and they are looking for a Senior/Data Engineer to join their data team.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain complex cloud ETL processes originating from multiples data sources
- Design, develop and implement data pipelines and infrastructure, including build data lakes and warehouses in Google Cloud Platform, implement functional data marts applying BigQuery
- Work closely with data and multiple teams to create data visualisations and to leverage the potential of data, to empower the future Big Data
- Assist on machine learning related projects for algorithms modelling
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree holder in Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics or other related disciplines
- At least 2 years' hands-on experience in data engineering and data warehousing using BigQuery
- Experience in ETL tools and message queuing/stream processing using Apache Kafka, Apache Beam, Spark...etc.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform / AWS is preferred
- Familiar with machine learning concepts will be an advantage
- Critical thinking and passion in data
- Strong in communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command in Cantonese and English
