About our client
Our client is a fast-growing Fintech solution provider with a strong foundation. With the need of handling their upcoming expansion, they are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join their team to support their ongoing projects.
About the role
- Responsible for managing, operating, and implementing systems at a cooperative level; Escalating issues to vendors if needed
- Conducting L2 operation tasks in the system, such as configuration, migration, troubleshooting, patching
- Assisting in the design and planning stage of new system solutions;
- Developing system operations automation
- Preparing system usage and performance reports;
- Assisting IT planning duties, such as policy review, SOP drafting, Disaster Recovery procedures and documentation
- Providing on-call support duties in a 7x24 format
Requirements
- Bachelor degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the IT infrastructure sector
- With working experience in sizable datacenter (s), such as in the banking & financial industry, telecommunications companies and IT solution provider
- Proficient in VMware Server virtualization related tools, such as ESXi/ vCenter/ VMware Cloud/ NSX/ vRealize Suite
- Familiar with SAN storage and Symantec End-point protection server management and administration
- Hands-on troubleshooting experiences in the Windows and Linux servers is plus
- Certification holder of VCP is definitely a plus
- Good command of English and Chinese(Cantonese & Mandarin)
