Senior Tax Manager
About the Client
Our client is currently expanding their Finance Department to support their regional business development. Currently, they are recruiting a strong Tax Manager to join the team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Head, this is a new headcount for both tax compliance and planning. You will oversee tax filings. You will review and improve tax reporting processes. Also, you will design transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance within the region. You will respond to tax authorities' enquiries and coordinate for tax/custom audits. You will provide tax advices to management for M&A, business development, risk management purposes. You will handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
- At least 10 years of relevant tax experience (China/APAC tax)
- Competent with both tax compliance and planning
- Experience in tax due diligence, transfer pricing is an advantage
- Knowledge in manufacturing, supply-chain, logistics is a plus
- Commercial, versatile, independent, and hands-on
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
