Job Description
Our client is a stable and long-standing retail banking platform, currently looking for a seasoned treasury operations specialist to join as their (senior) manager.
You will provide overall treasury support to front office operations in terms of management information production, business planning and strategy, new product development, system enhancement implementation and also work closely with back office departments including risk, finance and compliance functions. You will produce daily balance sheet and profit & loss of Treasury and compute the yield analysis of respective balance sheets. You will also help prepare management reports on a weekly and monthly basis for senior management review, and held responsible for budgeting and forecasting as required. You will also assist with hedge accounting and review portfolio effectiveness, and also perform the role of Business Money Laundering Prevention Officer ("BMLPO") for Treasury Direct Customer ("TDC") and Financial Institutions Department ("FID") - to ensure AML standards are in compliance to regulatory standards. Ad hoc projects will be assigned as required.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines, with minimum 10+ years relevant experience in banking and/or accounting field. CPA qualified will be required, and the understanding of treasury operations, risk and accounting will be essential for this role. Candidates with experience in business planning and business support highly regarded, and strong knowledge of treasury code of conduct and related regulatory requirements preferred. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager.
