About Our Client
Our client is leading European buying office specializing in hardgoods, textiles, electronics, and food product categories. Due to the business expansion plan, they are looking for a Social Compliance Officer in Hong Kong buying office.
Job Duties
- Communicate and build good relationship with suppliers and service providers
- Visit factories, and carry out on-site audits and evaluate audit findings to ensure the the code of conduct, amfori BSCI code of conduct, and industry regulatory requirements are met
- Manage all social compliance activates with amfori BSCI standard and review relevant social audit reports
- Study the audit findings to identify the potential risk, align risk definitions, and provide improvement plans to all suppliers
- Carry out training, workshop, and on-site consulting to related suppliers, and propose proper follow up plans
- Input and update all social standard data in system to ensure the data is accurate and up to date
- Provide immediate response and measurement for any emergent and accidental cases in factories
- Liaise and communicate with all internal and external stakeholders
- Support new project implementation
Requirement
- Degree holder or above in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related disciplines
- At least 4 years of experience in social compliance, BSCI, equivalent standards
- Experience in sustainability programs, and BSCI with European market is preferable
- Fluent communication in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or any related system is preferable
- Immediate availability is preferred
