Job Description

Our client is a prestigious private club in Hong Kong and Greater China, to cope with their expansion, they would like to invite a high calibre incumbent to join them as a Sommelier for their exquisite food and beverage outlets.

Job Description

  • Drive beverage revenue by identifying business opportunities and creating a wine culture to enhance revenue
  • Manage, maintain and control beverage orders and inventory level
  • Work closely with Restaurant Managers and Executive Chefs on new menu design and maintaining up-to-date wine list
  • Provide training for restaurant staff on new and existing beverages
  • Conduct regular sales analysis to ensure stock turnover and achieve maximum profitability
  • Keep abreast with business trends and constantly reviewing guests feedbacks to improve and generate business
  • Establish and maintain good relationship with suppliers


The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Sommelier working at a luxury hotel, club house, or restaurant
  • Sommelier Diploma holder
  • Experienced in creating wine lists and programmes for fine dining restaurants
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with track record in being able to work well with Head Chefs and suppliers
  • Provide regular training for team members on wine knowledge
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build a strong rapport with guests
