About the Client
Our client is a prestigious members only club in Hong Kong focusing on F&B and recreation, with growing businesses stretched to Mainland China. They are now looking for a Sports and Leisure Support Manager to join their ever-growing team.
About the Role
You will need to assist the manager in all areas relating to Sports and Recreation facilities such as business planning, venue and equipment readiness planning, staff training and program development. Lead, supervise, and motivate all full-time and part-time staff to ensure that business and customer service objectives and targets are achieved consistently. Ensure that all facilities are maintained to best-in-class standards at all times to deliver an excellent customer journey experience. Source, organise and supervise wellness, sports, and recreation programs that cater to Members' interests. Consolidate research findings and analytical statistics on programs and facilities' usage to make recommendations for continuous improvement and development. Last but not least, manage a team whose performance in service excellence and guest engagement is at an excellence level.
Requirements
- A Degree in Recreation Management or a related discipline
- 5 years of relevant experience in a luxury hotel, clubhouse, or up-scale fitness centres, of which 3 years in a supervisory role
- Excellent service and interpersonal skills
- Equipped with a can-do attitude
- Strong leadership skills to drive continuous improvement in service and business performance
- Relevant training in health/fitness management, physical education, and recreation management
- Certification in the professional qualification of ACSM, AFAA, NASM, ISSA, or ACE is a strong plus
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Fluency in Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
