About Our Client
Our client runs a multi-billion dollar business in Greater China and South East Asia. They have a long established history with their headquarters in Hong Kong. To cope with their needs, they are looking for a Tax Director to lead their tax function.
About The Role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be a leading a small team in Greater China to serve the Group's tax function. You will provide insightful expertise on cross border tax planning, compliance and advisory. You will also participate in the Group's M&A activities from a tax expert. You are expected to be proactive in identifying issues and work closely with related parties (both internal and external) to minimise any risk and unnecessary cost.
The Successful Applicant
You should be a degree holder in Finance or Accounting with at least 10 years of China tax practice from the Big 4 or commercial sector. Relevant accounting qualification is required. You should have sufficient leadership skills to manage a small team in Hong Kong and local offices. You should possess good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English, Cantonese as well as Mandarin. Candidates with less experience would be consider as Assistant Tax Director.
