About the Client:

Our client is a globally reputable Telecom specialised to deliver innovative analytics solutions in Mobile Roaming, Security and Fraud, with a need to hire a Technical Account Manager focused in Pre-sales activities to support technical account management.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Global Technical Account Management & General Manager in Hong Kong, you will provide technical account management as the primary contact for its premium customers. You will be focused with Pre-sales activities (80%) and some post-sales activities. You will be responsible for delivery of data-driven analytical solutions in the focused domains of Mobile Roaming and Mobile Network Security. You will collaborate with the Sales Manager to support the sales cycle and seek out more possible business. You will prepare materials in the pre-sales process and tender proposal.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering / Computer Sciences or related disciplines.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience, primarily in client-facing roles, of which 5 years on Pre-sales in the domain of wireless telecommunication.
  • Strong understanding of below technical skills is highly preferred:
    • Telco system stack - Networks, BSS and OSS
    • Cellular core network architecture (topology and elements)
    • Core mobile network elements, functionality and key procedures (signalling messages)
    • Signalling and switching protocols for GSM/3G/LTE
    • Mobile Data and IP/GPRS - elements, protocols and procedures
    • BSS/ OSS elements - billing, provisioning, mediation, policy management, probes and DPI, TAP/RAP procedures
    • Analytics for Mobile Operators - including subscribers, networks, CEM
    • Big Data technologies and data analytics
  • Proactive and strong communication in delivering presentations, proposals and client-facing materials.
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Extensive travel (60%) is required locally and globally
