About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, the position serves as Technology Director with operational and fiscal responsibility for the ERP, i.e. Enterprise Resource Planning System which represents Merchandising, Store Inventory, Store POS (Point of Sale), Financial Systems, and eCommerce. You will be monitoring and conducting quality control to reduce errors to improve procedures during POS integration. Establishing, recommending and implementing policies, new software and technologies to ensure quality, timely and efficient design. You will work effectively with other teams, implementing strategies to increase profitability, productivity and overall user experience. Mix of exceptional team management, technology ownership, ability to manage and mentor team members, coupled with strong interface skills working with the business stakeholders. Lastly, managed budgets and drive financial discipline to achieve business outcomes in a profitable manner
About the Successful Applicant
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
- Prior experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the Retail IT sector.
- Minimum 6 years of software development experience on retail Point-Of-Sales application, CRM, ERP System
- Must have experience in retail Point-Of-Sales solutions and latest retail technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- High degree of independence, initiative, responsibility and accountability, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, attention to details
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work
- Good command in English and Chinese
