About Our Client
Our client is a leading sportswear retailer, due to business expansion plan, they are looking for a Transportation Manager in Hong Kong who would be report to the VP of Transportation and responsible for process improvement projects, 3PL management, allocation, and inbound transportation management.
Job Duties
- Monitor the inbound transportation, allocation management, and cargo steering to ensure the performance requirements are met
- Monitor and review the operation performance and allocation plan is aligned between internal and external stakeholders
- Update and maintain data in allocation management system
- Cooperate with inbound transportation team and 3PL for allocation arrangement and scheduling
- Review overall data quality of allocation plans and reports with internal and external stakeholders
- Initiate allocation adjustment suggestions based on analysis
- Provide strategic planning, identify improvement and cost saving opportunities to drive continuous improvement plans to enhance the operations efficiency and effectiveness
- Sourcing Handle vendors analysis, review vendor performance, conduct tendering and vendor selection
- Manage performance and adherence with the transportation deadlines, and act as a contact point between internal and external stakeholders

- Handle ad-hoc project as required
Requirement
- Degree holder or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics/ transportation, preferably with experience in retail/ buying office
- Experience in project management, strategic planning and transformation management is preferable
- Experience in logistics tender, rate negotiation with service providers is preferable
- Experience in MS Office, SAP or any supply chain software solutions is preferable
- Fluent communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
