Job Description
Our client is a listed and growing Chinese Investment Bank; as part of the team restructuring and expansion exercise, they are currently looking for a Team Lead for their Credit Risk team.
Reporting to the Head of Risk, you will supervise a team of 2 and complete the credit monitoring task and take any risk mitigation actions to minimise market or trading loss. You will review and streamline daily workflows to help improve the current practice in a cost-effective way,whilst ensuring the credit policies and procedures are complying to regulatory standards. You will also participate in regular reviews in the company's overall risk exposure of margin financing and involve in timely reporting, analysis and approval of exceptional cases.
To qualify as the team head, you will be degree educated in finance, risk management or statistics (with professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM), with a minimum 8 solid years' experience managing the risk management team in investment bank, security or asset management institutions. You will be familiar with the governing rules and regulations and demonstrate strong time management and multiple-projects handling skills. Proficiency in both Mandarin and English will be required whilst a mature and detail oriented personality will help excel in this role. This position pays up to $60k per month.
