About The Company
Our client is one of the leading retail banks, currently hiring a seasoned Finance professional for their Regulatory Reporting team. Targeting candidates with 6+ years experience from Big4 audit firms and/or 1+ years in banking sector, and someone with solid experience in HKMA regulatory reporting and returns.
About The Role
Reporting into the Team Head, you will review the HKMA returns and ensure all reports are meeting the regulatory standards. You will access the projection of regulatory ratios, review new/the revised HKMA and CBIRC requirements and propose updates on returns procedures manual in a timely manner. You will also take lead in reviewing and improving existing process, and liaise with external audits and regulators relating to regulatory reporting as required.
Requirements
To qualify, you will be a degree holder in Accounting, Business or relevant discipline, alongside a recognised professional accounting qualification. Minimum 6 years experience in Big 4 and/or at least 1 year of team supervising experience in banking or financial sector highly regarded. You will also demonstrate strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills both in English and Chinese (fluency in Mandarin an advantage). You will also be someone who can work independently and deliver under pressure.
