About Our Client
Our client is a Chinese investment bank, with core businesses across securities brokerage, corporate finance and asset management. They are now hiring for an additional headcount for the finance team, targeting candidates with 8+ years regulatory reporting experience from Big 4 and asset management background. This role pays up to $65k per month.
About The Role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will prepare management accounts, regulatory returns (FRR, ADD), and ad hoc management reports for the business. You will also prepare interim and annual reports for the Group and overview daily treasury function; at the same time assist with year-end audit and tax compliance issues. As the AVP / VP Finance, you will also check staff disbursements and review junior associates' work on daily basis. Ad hoc assignments on financial reporting will be assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in finance, accounting or related disciplines. A qualified accountant with 8+ years of experience in brokering, corporate advisory and/ or asset management businesses alongside CPA firm experience will be required for this role. You will also have experience in preparing published accounts and also familiar with regulatory reporting, financial accounting, management analysis and cash flow management. Good command of both English and Chinese required and someone with strong analytical skills will be highly regarded. Candidates with less experience will be considered as AVP, Finance. This role pays up to HKD65,000 per month.
