About Our Client

Our client is a leading publishing company which devoted to providing high quality educational services for students in Hong Kong. Their business scopes including education, publication and relevant retail businesses. They are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager, who would be reporting to the Director, leading a team of 30, responsible for managing internal warehouse team for warehouse operations, external 3PL for delivery arrangements, and new system implementation.

Job Duties

  • Oversee and monitor daily warehouse operations and delivery transportation to ensure the requirements are met
  • Manage internal warehouse team and external 3PL performance to tighten the operation process and strengthen the communication between different stakeholders
  • Monitor and enforce appropriate working practices to ensure the company policies and compliance requirements are met
  • Support and participate in new system implementation for re-engineering the logistics operations to support the new eCommerce business
  • Review performance and identify continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities across the warehouse and logistics operations
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports based on operation performance, inventory level, budgeting and system data
  • Prepare and conduct annual budget plans and reports
  • Maintain and enhance the warehouse system to ensure the requirements are met
  • Provide training and coaching to develop team members
  • Handle ad-hoc project as required

Requirement

  • Degree holder or above in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years of solid experience in warehouse & logistics operation, preferably with experience in managerial position
  • Experience in handling multiple internal customers in a sizeable company is preferable
  • Experience in MS Office, ERP, D365, or any supply chain software solutions is preferable
  • Fluent communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
