Job Description

Assistant Manager - Finance Operations (6-month contract, renewable)

- Luxury brand, regional role

- Knowledge in AR, AP & accounting flow

- Project focus (system implementation)

- 5-day work, 6-month contract (renewable)

- Location: Quarry Bay

Responsibilities

- Ensure the overall service delivery of AR/AP function based on the service level agreements and defined closing mechanism. Review and execute for overall end to end process quality

- Review current processes regularly and seek for improvement for overall quality delivered

- Close out gap for risk area identified and implement control in process and data validation

- Improve operational performance via KPIs and other automated / self-serviced reports to look for continuous improvement. Review and drive team's productivity regularly

- Manage intercompany end to end workflow and operation. Strong working relationship with global, supply chains, business, and tax counterparts to execute cross company recharges timely.

- Provide sufficient training to the team with advanced proficiency with financial and operational system knowledge in both AR/AP areas, and promote strong mindset in risk and internal control needed to perform the daily operation

- Collaborate between varies team in finance community to achieve month end closing in good quality and timely manner together with Financial Accounting and Reporting team

- Be able to interpret the defined Key Risk Indicator (KRIs) to provide insight to market CFOs and execute the relevant mitigation plans to address the identified risk

Requirements

- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines

- Minimum 4 years working experience (AR and AP experience is preferred)

- Worked in Shared Service Center is an advantage

- Solid expertise / operational know-how of all finance processes (AP, AR, GL, inventory accounting, etc) and understanding of market specificities

- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese

- Strong sense in data and numbers, analytical and problem-solving skills

- Dynamic, proactive, self-initiated and able to complete tasks within timeline

- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

- Immediate availability is preferred
