About our client

Our client is a reputable conglomerate that has multiple portfolios in different industries and to cope with their group expansion, they are now seeking for a Data Integration & Migration Lead

About the Role

Reporting to the department head, you will work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, solution architects, data SMEs and the vendors for the definition and delivery of the data migration scope. You will liaise with your counterparts across the programme in order to deliver on the strategic priorities of the overall programme, i.e. how the data migration activity interacts with other Products, Projects or initiatives across the programme and the wider organization. Liaising with a variety of business and technology stakeholders to understand the data migration requirements and define scope. Manage the execution of end-to-end data migration processes for trial migrations, dress rehearsal and production cutover. Lastly, defining data migration approach & process, including mock and production loads, to ensure successful production migration with minimum errors

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 7+ years project management experience
  • The ability to take responsibility for high quality and on-time project deliveries
  • Proven ability to deliver Data Migration and Integration projects
  • Strong analytical, communication and project management skills, including the ability to gather user requirements and identify potential solutions
  • Strong ability to collaborate closely with multiple functional and business teams in developing data migration strategy and approach
  • In-depth understanding of project management methodologies
  • Ability to understand and deliver on customer expectations
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience within the System Development Lifecycle delivering new systems and IT capability to internal business units
  • Experience in project/program management within established structures with the ability to work to tight deadlines and competing priorities
