Job Description
Job duties:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring their professional growth and development.
Product Development and Design:
- Lead the development and design of electrical appliances and robotic products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development and launch processes.
Engineering Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day engineering operations, including resource allocation, project planning, and budget management.
- Establish and monitor engineering metrics to measure performance, quality, and efficiency, and take proactive measures to drive improvements as needed.
Research and Development:
- Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and market developments in the electrical appliances and robotics industry. .
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in a senior engineering role, preferably in the electrical appliances and robotics industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, robotics, and automation technologies
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English
- Station in DongGuan (weekly travel)
