Finance Director (Business Unit: Consumer)



About the Client

Our client is private conglomerate with a regional business presence. Currently, they are looking for a Finance Director to head up their consumer business unit and support their Hong Kong and Asia businesses.



About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will head up the Finance Department of the business unit. You will be a key finance business partner, supporting annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, conducting regular performance analysis by looking at P&L, working capital, KPI etc and supporting corporate strategies and business plan. You will work closely with operation, identify and suggest ways to boost sales and enhance internal control and efficiency. You will participate in different transformation initiatives and involve in change management. Also, you will ensure timely financial reporting in accordance with group standard and policies. You will work with stakeholders at all levels. You will liaise with professional parties such as auditors, consultants and lawyers. You will lead any ad-hoc projects when necessary.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 15 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including finance business partnering experience in driving business change and growth.
  • Experience gained from FMCG/Retail/F&B/ Trading and Distribution is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead a sizable team.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
