Job Description

Are you seeking a challenging and rewarding career in the banking industry? If so, our client is currently looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable General Banking Officer to their our esteemed team.

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with their inquiries, providing information on various banking products and services, and guiding them in making informed financial decisions.

- Process loan applications, assess creditworthiness, and collaborate with relevant departments to facilitate loan approvals and disbursements.

- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet sales targets and contribute to the bank's overall growth.

- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

- Stay updated on banking industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.

- Collaborate with team members and support colleagues in achieving departmental goals and targets.

Requirements:

- HKDSE or equivalent. Qualified in IIQE123 or HKSI178 is a plus.

- Fluent in Cantonese, good command in English and Mandarin.

- Preferably experience in a customer-facing position.

- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide appropriate financial solutions.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining customer confidentiality.
