Group Financial Controller


About the Client

Our client is a well-established private company with a diversified business portfolio. Currently, they are looking for a Financial Controller to sit at group level to oversee a full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for the group's global business.

About the Role

  • Reporting to Chief Financial Officer
  • Lead a sizable team to perform financial reporting, management reporting, and budgeting functions
  • Review financial statements and the consolidated accounts
  • Conduct various financial analyses on sales, cost, KPI and investment
  • Involve in process and system enhancement initiatives
  • Responsible for oversee tax compliance and planning
  • Responsible for year-end audit
  • Strengthen internal control systems and policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Work closely with external auditors, lawyers, bankers and other professionals


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA qualification is required
  • A minimum of 15 years of finance and accounting experience from Big 4 and sizable corporations
  • Relevant experience gained in real estate investment, logistics, financial services is an advantage
  • Self-driven, analytical, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
