About the Client

Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, my client is a sizable conglomerate with multiple projects. To continue with their business strategy, they are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join the management team.

About the Role

Reporting into the Board of Directors, you will be fully responsible for the operations finance department. You will develop organisational strategies by contributing financial data, analysis and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction. You will also lead the team in preparing interim and annual reports as well as looking after the tax function. In addition, you should maximise return on invested funds by identifying any future investment opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, you will be a degree holder in Accounting or related subjects with a recognized CPA qualification. You should have at least 25 years progressive track record of success and acquired at least 18 years of leadership experience, preferably in the real estate industry. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Fluency in Cantonese and English is essential.
