Job Description

Our client is a renowned luxury fashion house known for its exquisite designs and impeccable craftsmanship.

The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing the sales planning and distribution planning functions for the APAC region. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain & Logistics Director based in Hong Kong, the Supply Chain Planning Director will lead a team of 10 professionals and play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory planning and management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supply chain planning and inventory planning, preferably within the luxury retail industry.


  • Develop and implement the sales planning and distribution planning strategies for the APAC region, in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management processes to optimize stock levels across the region, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to gather market insights, analyze sales trends, and adjust forecasts accordingly.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, systems, and tools, promoting efficiency and accuracy in demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales planning and distribution planning, providing regular reports and insights to management to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with regional and global teams to ensure effective communication, alignment, and implementation of best practices across markets.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain & Logistics Director to develop and execute strategic initiatives, such as new market expansion, product launches, and inventory optimization projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities that may impact sales planning and distribution planning strategies.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical standards, data privacy regulations, and health and safety guidelines.


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, and inventory planning, preferably within the luxury retail industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales planning and distribution planning processes, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting methodologies, inventory management techniques, and supply chain analytics.
  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and advanced planning tools. Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.
  • Fluency in English.
