About our client

Our client is a logistics service provider with a strong foundation in Hong Kong. Currently, they are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team.

About the role

  • Handle users' tickets and provide L1/L2 technical support on the company application/system/server/network in a timely manner
  • Perform administration, patching, troubleshooting, deployment and health checking on hardware/on-perm system on a regular basis
  • Monitor, manage and troubleshoot applications and systems to ensure a smooth business operation under a team-base
  • Escalate technical issues to relevant parties, such as internal developers, vendors and network team
  • Provide inventory management, documentation, and training to users


Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in the IT sector; Fresh grad is welcome
  • Experience in providing L1/L2 system support
  • Knowledge of system operation and support, such as System/Linux OS, VMware is a plus
  • Familiar with networking technology, such as firewalls, SDWAN/LAN/WAN and VPN, is a plus
  • Good communication skills and team-working spirit
  • Good command of English and Chinese(Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • On-job training would be provided
