About The Client

Our client is a prominent Hong Kong-based conglomerate with a diverse business portfolio spanning multiple industries. To support the company's continued growth and financial positioning, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Accountant , sitting under the corporate consolidation function.

About The Role

  • Reporting to the assistant financial manager
  • Analyze consolidated financial performance, provide insights, and recommend actions to improve efficiency
  • Document and continuously improve consolidation processes and best practices
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of consolidated financial reporting systems
  • Liaise with finance teams across the group's business units to ensure consistent application of accounting standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, or equivalent) with at least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience
  • Proven track record in a consolidation or group accounting role, preferably in a diversified, multi-business conglomerate
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS/HKFRS) and complex consolidation principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues
  • Proficient in the use of financial reporting systems and advanced Excel modeling
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to present to senior leaders
  • Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin an advantage
