Our client is a world leading luxury brand who is committed to innovation and designing new products. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Scientist to support their fast growing luxury business.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Science, you will be a strategic and inquisitive Senior Data Scientist to develop and run with data science projects, harness your mastery of Data Science to consult on various aspects.

  • Formulating, suggesting, and managing data-driven projects which are geared at furthering the business's interests
  • Selecting and employing advanced statistical procedures to obtain actionable insights
  • Producing and disseminating non-technical reports that detail the successes and limitations of each project
  • Suggesting ways in which insights obtained might be used to inform business strategies
  • Staying informed about developments in Data Science and adjacent fields to ensure that outputs are always relevant

About the Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or relevant
  • At least 5+ years experience as a data scientist or similar
  • Competent in data modelling, data mining, analytic, algorithms principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in Python, preferably with exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data science projects
  • Good communication in Chinese and English
