Job Description
As a Senior Jewellery Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of high-quality, innovative jewellery collections. You will work closely with the design team, collaborating with other departments such as product development and sourcing to ensure that our jewellery designs meet market trends and customer preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative jewellery designs, taking into consideration market trends, customer preferences, and brand identity.
- Stay updated on current and emerging jewellery trends, including materials, styles, and design techniques.
- Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and demands, and translate these insights into jewellery design concepts.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on prototypes and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Jewellery Designer
- Strong proficiency in illustrator and Photoshop applications. CAD/Rhino experience is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of jewellery design principles, materials, manufacturing techniques, and gemology.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor analysis in the jewellery industry.
