My client is one of the leading sportswear brand who is looking for a (Senior Merchandiser) with experience in bags and fashion accessories.

About the role

Assisting in data collection and analysis

  • gather and organize data related to raw materials supply planning and supplier reporting
  • support in analyzing this data to identify trends and insights that can drive improvements.

Monitoring production readiness

  • track the status of bulk materials, such as lab dip approval and quality testing, to ensure that production can proceed smoothly and according to schedule
  • Flagging any potential delays or issues that may arise

Problem-solving and delay mitigation

  • Assist in coordinating problem-solving efforts and implementing mitigation actions when delays occur

Ensuring data integrity in systems

  • Monitor the status of raw material orders and ensure that the information is accurately reflected in systems.
  • This involves verifying data integrity, identifying any discrepancies, and coordinating with relevant parties to resolve them

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

  • Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production cycle
  • Identify areas for improvement, researching best practices, and supporting the implementation of new processes or tools

Job requirements

  • Solid background in bags and fashion accessories merchandising
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and can effectively collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural background
  • Able to build relationships and establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS Office eg. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Good understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
