About The Company
My client is a Multinational Apparel retailer. This position will be responsible for end-to-end merchandising activities and under the Woven team.
About The Role
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with the company's objectives
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences
- Manage the product development process from concept to launch
- Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions
- Develop strong relationships that support the company's long-term growth objectives
- Develop and implement cost control strategies that improve margins while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction
- Ensure that potential new vendors and factories can meet the company's standards and requirements
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder in related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant sourcing/ merchandising experience in Apparel, preferably in Woven products
- Organized and energetic with a positive attitude
- Ability to achieve tight deadlines and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Occasional travel is required
