About The Client


Our client is a well-established company in Hong Kong and they are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Architect to join their team.

Job Description

  • Responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of the enterprise data platform, leveraging big data and cloud technologies
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into a comprehensive data architecture that meets the organization's needs
  • Design and document the enterprise data platform architecture, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and access layers
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) to support the data architecture
  • Ensure the data architecture is aligned with the organization's IT and data governance standards
  • Work closely with data engineering, data science, and business teams to implement and maintain the data platform
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in big data, AI, and cloud computing



Qualifications:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Data, Information System or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in implementing big data solution with proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-level data platforms
  • Expertise in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data quality best practices
  • Familiar with Python, Java, Oracle, and MongoDB
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
