About The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive, and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the strategic thinking on workforce issues; develop effective ways of implementing modern people management strategies and good practice; and contribute to the leadership of the business as a whole.

You will lead on professional practice in relation to the people and organisational improvement, responsible for developing and implementing HR strategy, policies, performance management, staff engagement, cultural change and learning and development. Success would mean to ensure an effective resourcing and development strategy for a skilled, engaged, and empowered workforce, alongside a supportive and inclusive culture.

Additionally, you will lead and support the HR element of the implementation of "future of work" across the organisation to help achieve good productivity and job satisfaction through the right balance of where and how the employees work as the business build on experience of working in a modern and flexible way.

Requirements
You will be a seasoned strategic HR leader with excellent communication and influencing skills. You will have a proven track record of leading large teams and bringing about organisational change within a complex organisation, with extensive experience of successfully leading the delivery of strategic objectives and business plans, together with significant experience of operating in leadership roles, translating strategy into effective operational plans. You will provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively to lead and embed a performance focused culture to deliver high quality outcomes. You will ideally come with experience from infrastructure or similar businesseses, showing business acumen for creating a workplace with an inclusive culture and an "employer of choice".
