- Lead a team of 5 members to manage fundraising and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with the Chief Executive and Board members to plan 3-year fundraising strategies and marketing direction.
- Oversee 100+ key donor accounts and maintain relationships with an assistant fundraising manager and a fundraising officer.
- Apply for new funding opportunities through written proposals, presentations, and pitching meetings.
- Plan and organize fundraising events like gala dinners, flag selling, walkathons, and running competitions.
- Monitor monthly income and budgeting in coordination with the finance team.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities aligned with the organization's mission.
- Manage the Senior Marketing & Communications Officer for day-to-day marketing activities.
- Develop marketing communication materials, including annual reports, brochures, eDMs, and social media posts.
- Create compelling storytelling content to showcase the impact of donors' contributions.
- Engage with media agencies to secure event coverage and promote organization's stories.
- Degree holder in any discipline with a minimum of 8 years' experience in charity fundraising/charity marketing/sports marketing/event management considered for Manager role. Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Manager position.
- Proven track record of collaborative problem-solving, building internal relationships, and working effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Experience advising teams and senior executives on fundraising and marketing matters.
- Responsive to WhatsApp group messages and emails, with strong resilience to work under stress.
- Strong finance acumen.
- Possess a strong sense of sports/charity marketing, demonstrating creativity and independence.
- Capable leader with confidence in hosting and managing events as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
- Strong team player skilled in working with individuals from different functional backgrounds.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently while balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to various districts in Hong Kong on weekday evenings and weekends, with transport subsidy and compensation leave provided.
- Knowledge of and passion for sports and the charitable sector preferred.
Location & Working hours:
- Quarry Bay, Mon to Fri, 9am - 6pm
