About our client

Our client is a well-established and international retail bank in Hong Kong. To cope with their business expansion plan, they are now looking for high caliber for a Banking Segment Head position for their Customer Management team.

About the role

Reporting to the Dept Head of Customer Management, you will lead a team in developing overall customer acquisition, retention and promotion strategies for driving all banking customer segments (including mass, young, affluent, private banking and cross border) from various banking channels (online, offline and branch). You are responsible for planning, formulating and executing business models to drive segment revenue and P&L as well as launching marketing strategies to increase customer base. Working closely with the product owners, you will develop tactical business plans to package product offer to grow customer loyalty and enhance brand positioning. You are also required to explore the potential of the market and generate new ideas in digital projects on customer experience to maximize business opportunities.

The successful candidate

To qualify, the successful individual must possess:

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration and related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 - 12 years' of experience in Segment Management in retail banking industry with over 6 years in managerial or director level.
  • Solid in managing all-rounded local segment strategy (segment owner role) with good knowledge in cross border segment development is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and excellent project management skills.
  • Good business sense, sound leadership and communication skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
