About the Client

Our client is a well-established Hong Kong family office who has a diversified investment portfolio. Currently, they are looking for a seasoned Finance Director to manage the accounting and finance function for the office.

About the Role

Reporting to the family members, you will lead and manage the financial operations of the family office. You will develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting. You will handle consolidation, prepare management reports and conduct ad-hoc analysis for strategic needs. You will manage the treasury function, including cash flow management and asset management. You will provide finance support for portfolio management of the family's assets and investments. You will liaise with external partners, including bankers, external auditors, tax consultants, and lawyers. You will involve in any ad-hoc projects as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia
  • Minimum 15 years of accounting and finance experience, including managerial experience gained in a family business/ family office
  • Experience in company secretary, tax, and internal control is preferred.
  • Knowledge of different treasury/investment products is a plus.
  • Able to roll up the sleeves, facilitate changes and work with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
