About our client

Our client is a Hong Kong-based, market-leading audiology service provider. To cope with their operation across multiple branches, they would like to invite a high calibre individual to join their teams as an Hearing Specialist.

About the Role

  • Interview patients to learn their symptoms and hearing impairment histories
  • Conduct hearing tests to determine the severity and type of hearing impairment
  • Analyze test findings to make diagnoses, then discuss possible solutions with patients
  • Explain hearing aids functions, styles, and cost. Make recommendation and help patients choose the right hearing aids based upon individual's lifestyle, age, and preference
  • Provide on-going support for patients who have purchased hearing aids, including hearing tests and hearing aids adjustment
  • Assist audiologists with nonsurgical procedures designed to treat hearing disorders
  • Teach patients aural rehabilitation techniques
  • Receive continuing education and professional trainings organized by the company

The successful applicant

  • Secondary 6 or above, with an emphasis in science and technology
  • Sales or health-related knowledge and experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good commands in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) and English
