Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager. The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading the internal audit function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and identifying areas for improvement in internal controls and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment and regulatory requirements
- Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee
- Lead and mentor a team of internal auditors, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, or other relevant certifications preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or related field
- Previous experience in Hotel, F&B, or Property Management will be a plus
- Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Experience with audit software and data analytics tools is a plus
