About my client

Our client is a fast growing and well-established banking group in Hong Kong. Due to the recent expansion, they are now looking for candidate for a Manager position for their Lending Product Process and Control team.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Head, you will oversee product process and workflow for retail loans and card products. You are requested to establish proper control measures to improve operational efficiency from front to back operations. You have to manage end-to-end product flow and design product control systems to meet regulatory requirements. You are responsible to draft procedure manual and propose new workflow guidelines for different banking channels (branch, digital, direct channels and back-end procedures). You need to initiate product projects on system enhancement, operation streamline and improvement to strike a balance on product business and compliance policies. In addition, you are requested to work on various new product and digital development to optimize product effectiveness.

The successful applicant

To qualify, the successful applicant must possess:

  • University graduate in business related subjects.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of banking experience in product process and workflow control of retail loans and/or credit card products.
  • Sound knowledge in banking regulations and guidelines with previous exposure in digital projects is definitely an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge in preparing product procedure manuals is a must.
  • Good analytical mind, project management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
