About the Client

Our client is a leading conglomerate and they are expanding their retail business portfolio in the SE Asia market. Currently, they are recruiting a seasoned finance professional to set up the business partner function in their Hong Kong's corporate office.


About the Role

Reporting to Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for setting up the finance function for the SE Asia cluster. You will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes. You will conduct various performance analysis. You will conduct scenario analysis and prepare management reports to facilitate decision making. You will facilitate annual audit and tax compliance. You will ensure reporting will align with group's standard and procedures. Also, you will help to drive system and process enhancement projects.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
  • HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of related accounting and finance experience
  • Experience in retail/wholesale/ecommerce is required
  • APAC/ SE Asia finance experience is required
  • System implementation/ user experience of SAP is preferred
  • Proactive, hands-on, able to cope with changes and multi-task
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
