Job Description
Our client is a leading listed conglomerate based in Hong Kong. Due to business expansion plan, the team is looking for a Procurement Manager to join the team.
About your role:
- Report to Head of Procurement and manage a team of 3
- Lead sourcing activities of all categories, spend and capital expenditure from data gathering, market analysis, sourcing, negotiation, vendor selection, creation of purchase orders, tracking saving & reporting performance management to achieve the best value for money
- Perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks by draft and list out the Policy & Procedures
- Work with internal audit team, external audit team as well as Green Council audit team in order to make sure the procurement function is meet with Company' standards
- Explores opportunities for green procurement and actively participates in the recycling program
The Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Facility Management or related disciplines with at least 10 years of related work experience in sizable organization
- Familiar with purchase orders, contract terms & conditions etc.
- Experience in managing tender process and preparation of tender documents
- Professional qualifications of RICS, HKIS, CIPS or CPSM will be an advantage
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is a plus
