About the Client

Our client is a leading retail business with international business presence. To cope with their business development, they are now recruiting a seasoned Regional Finance Director in their Hong Kong office.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key finance business partner who shall oversee full accounting and finance functions. You will involve in annual budgeting and forecasting. You will work closely with business leaders in the region and provide finance support for store opening, sales performance analysis, cost control and competitor analysis. You will lead local finance teams and ensure reporting complies with accounting standard and regulatory requirements. You will communicate with professional services providers for local accounting and tax matters. You will help to strengthen internal control and support any finance transformation projects. You will guide and train the local finance teams and upskill them to support business growth in the region.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should have at least 15 years of relevant work experience. Relevant professional qualification such as HKICPA/ACCA is required. You should be an experienced finance business partner who can provide support for strategic growth and process improvement. You should be commercially savvy, result-driven, adaptive and a people leader who can roll up his or her sleeves. You should be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage stakeholders with diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are required. Proficiency in English is compulsory.
