About the client

Our client is a multinational biotechnology company for oncology diagnostic services across APAC. To cope with their expanding operation in Hong Kong, they would like to invite a high-calibre individual to join their chapter in Hong Kong as their Sales Director for their operations in Hong Kong.



About the role

Reporting to the Global Head of Commercial, you would initiate and drive go-to-market strategies, and determine the business direction in the Hong Kong market. You would determine specific target clients and business partners based on your experience to spearhead business development and revenue growth. Strategize on sales data and metrics, allocate resources and drive marketing events to achieve commercial goals. You would oversee all internal operations and external relationships and lead the company's chapter in Hong Kong to success.

The successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, medicine, biomedical engineering, or of relevant disciplines
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in business development and sales experience in oncology, either pharmaceutical, medical service or medical devices, of a reputable/sizeable company
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales team management
  • Self-motivated individual, of result-driven, independent, reliable and analytical character
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese and English is a prerequisite for the position
  • Candidates with an existing network in the oncology field would have an advantage
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for sales manager
