About The Client
Our client is one of the leading property developers in Hong Kong. They are now hiring for a Senior Legal Counsel with PQE 10+ gained from sizeable law firms and/or listed companies. Candidates familiar with listing rules compliance and ESG will be essential for this role.
About The Role
- Be the go-to legal advisor for designated business portfolio, support on full range of general commercial, transactions matters and listing rules compliance
- Draft, review and negotiate different commercial agreements, legal documents
- Advise on general commercial and regulatory matters, identify and mitigate business risks
- Support company secretarial matters as appropriate to ensure compliance standards are met
- Liaise with external counsels and regulatory bodies
- Manage ad hoc projects
Requirements
- PQE 10+, qualified lawyer admitted to Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions
- Experienced listing compliance lawyer handling listed company compliance matters, knowledge around ESG a plus
- Strong communications and leadership skills
- Strong commercial sense, good sense of awareness around risk assessment
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
