About our Client

Our client is a well-known education group in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Legal Manager to join their group.

About the Role

  • Individual contributor, report to the CEO
  • Review and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and other third parties
  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management on various legal matters, including contract interpretation and regulatory compliance
  • Manage litigation matters and work with outside counsel as necessary
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, policies, and other legal agreements
  • Other Ad-hoc legal duties

The Successful Candidate

  • Degree holder or above in Law or other related disciplines from an accredited law school.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a legal role, with a focus on contract review and policy formulation, preferable gained from international investment banks / international law firms / well known in-house
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience working in the education industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong English command
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
