About the company

Our client is a well-established Investment bank headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in mainland China, London, New York and Singapore, providing full range of investment banking products in mainland and overseas capital markets. With their continuous expansion in business, they are now looking for high caliber to join their OTC Derivatives Product and Operations team.

About the role

Reporting to the Dept Head of Product and Operations, you will lead a team in developing OTC Derivatives by formulating and developing overall product plans and product projects. You are responsible for managing new product on board, product launch strategy, system testing and related regulatory checking in growing OTC product business. You are required to establish product operation flow framework and monitoring settlement on daily operations, including making variation margin and initial margin calls, recording booking and dispute management to ensure the smooth launch of OTC derivatives product. In addition, you have to perform margin and collateral processing and related credit risk control to achieve business targets.

The successful applicant

To qualify, the successful individual must possess:

  • University Graduate in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant product experience of OTC Derivatives in investment banks and financial firms.
  • Excellent knowledge in OTC product development, systems enhancement, operation procedures, settlement flow and related regulatory requirements.
  • Strong business sense, strategic mind and people management.
  • Good analytical and computer skills, such as Microsoft Excel and VBA.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager position.
