About the company

Our client is a well-established retail banking group in Hong Kong. To cope with their expansion, they are now looking for high caliber to join their Card & Payment Merchant team for a Business Manager position.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Head of Card & Payment Merchant, you will recruit new merchants and upgrade existing merchants to use their card and payment merchant services of the bank to achieve business targets. You need to provide card payment solutions to merchant clients to ensure merchant service quality and develop new business opportunities. You are required to build strong merchant network and cross sell other related banking products to maximize revenue. You will also work closely with SME / Commercial product team in launching new product promotion programs to foster collaboration within the bank.

The successful applicant

To qualify, the successful individual must possess:

  • Degree holder with at least 3-4 years' in card or payment merchant development experience in retail banks with proven sales track record.
  • Strong merchant network and good knowledge in credit card & digital payment solutions and operations.
  • Sales driven, good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager position.
